Mr. Ahmed Taha
Executive Director, Industrial Modernization Center – IMC
Mr Ahmed has engineering degree and HR diploma. He worked in different sectors such as Telecom, Oil and Gas. He assumed several senior positions and achieved great results in different development programs in Egypt. The Industrial Modernization Center has a large share of participation to achieve the goal, through 300 professional staff with excellent training working to reach the Egyptian industrial society through 19 branches distributed geographically in the industrial areas and more than 50 sectoral development studies. So far, 100 thousand services have been provided to 13,000 customers in nine industrial sectors

Hossam Sabbour
Lean Six Sigma MBB Consultant / Symbios Consulting
Hossam is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He leads the Lean & Six Sigma team to deploy Lean and Six Sigma in Egypt and the Middle East.
He delivered training and led deployment in Egypt, KSA, Jordan, and Kuwait.
He led and shared in several consulting and training projects that include profitability increase, cost reduction, defect reduction, lean deployment, Six Sigma deployment, 20 Keys implementation, factory re-layout, process improvement & optimization and training for business leaders.

Sameh has joined Unilever in 1st of November 1997 as a shift engineer in the Powder Factory, Sameh has rotated in many roles within the Supply Chain in Unilever Egypt & Unilever KSA.

MIBA ESLSCA University, Executive Management Diploma AUC , CPIM certified from APICS , Sabry was graduated from the Faculty of Engineer- Electronic & Communication section Ain-Shams University in 1997 .PERSONAL:
Sameh was born in Cairo in 1974. He is married and has three children Ahmed, Rana and Omar. He loves watching and playing sports as football and athletics. He is interested in politics. Sameh is passionate for Reading, especially: History, Management, and Religion.

Islam Elbarbari is Sr Sales Manager of GE Digital for Africa. He is a GE veteran with over 14 years of experience in digital industrial transformation, information technology, engineering and turnkey projects in Middle East.
He leads GE’s strategic growth initiatives, supporting partners in Africa to look at digital industrial transformation, and focuses on further strengthening localized innovation in the digital space through industry and academia linkages.
Islam has a strong understanding of the region, especially in the IT, engineering, and healthcare sectors, having served over 20 years in the region.
Prior to this, Islam had a long history with GE Healthcare Digital Business, serving as Sales Director for Saudi Market.
Islam also worked as Executive Sales Manager for GE Healthcare in Saudi
Islam holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering and he is PMP Certified

With total of more than 10 years in the journey of continuous improvement started with consultancy where working with the highly qualified expatriate consultants with my earlier employer GEMBA Academy – Middle East (B2LS Consulting) benefiting from their technical skills and expertise; exposure to diversified range of industries including white goods, plastics, foam, automotive, furniture, electrical transformers, cookware, etc.
Followed with joining GSK Production System Regional Manager for MEA Region, to set the foundation of the GPS and achieving 5% financial saving versus operating expenditures year on year through changing the mindset, culture of the organization and aligned business goals. Currently Leading GPS at El Salam Site to embed the GPS in our day to day activities and using lean thinking to the support the site leadership team in overcoming the site’s business challenges. Academic background of Electronics & Electrical Engineering – Cairo University.

Supply Chain Manager , KAPCI Coatings and Lean 20 keys Implementation Project
Mr. Mohamed Mohamed El-Sayed is a member of board of directors at KAPCI coatings. He is leading supply chain team since 2009. Mr Mohamed is a certified Lean Black Belt. He has been leasing the deployment program at KAPCI four factories since 2013 with great results and impressive culture change.

A Certified Lean Six-Sigma BB with extensive hands on experience in FMCG manufacturing environments, Amr is a Mechanical Engineer who got appointed to different leadership roles in Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Operations for reputable multinational companies. Amr is currently a Value Stream Manager for MARS Inc. chocolate factory in Egypt with a previous experience in Coca-Cola Company.
Through his professional career he experienced several operational excellence transformations and site expansions also he acquired deep knowledge about Site Mastering Planning and facilities Lean design. In his spare time Amr conducted several lectures about value stream mapping, Lean concepts and Total Quality Management.

Eng. Shereen Mosallam graduated as a mechanical engineer from Faculty of Engineering in Ain Shams University and holds Masters in Business Administration from the American University in Cairo. Unlike many of her female colleagues, eng. Shereen started her career in the automotive sector in General Motors, which she considers an eye opening experience that made her focus on the gap between academic life and real business needs. This developed her passion towards becoming an Operational Excellence Advocate.
She has assumed many roles and has become a partner and managing director of Symbios Consulting as director of Supply Chain Council for the Middle East and North Africa. She is also a member of the OPEX Global Society advisory board in addition to her role as Lean 6 Sigma Master Black Belt.
Shereen is a restless mentor whose mission is discovering new limits through people and values.

Lean Transformation Leader @ Natpet Schulman Specialty Plastic Compounds (NSSPC) – Yanbu Industrial Area, KSA.
Narayana Madi is currently working with NSSPC as Lean Transformation Leader for the last 4 months. Prior to this he worked with Philips Lighting Saudi Arabia for 11 years at different levels in Manufacturing and Commercial function and used lean techniques to improve the resource efficiency at different type of functions.
Mr. Madi is basically an Industrial Engineer, graduated from Bangalore University in India and having 21 years of professional experience in India and Middle East. He gained his manufacturing experience from the companies like Siemens, Tata Power and Philips Lighting and received several recognitions from the top management for fulfilling the tasks and commitments.
Mr. Madi is trained in Lean Manufacturing by Symbios Consulting and Philips University and he is qualified Lean Green Belt Practitioner. He visited many factories in Asia and Europe as part of bench mark visit and acquired good knowledge on best practices.
He will present some of the real cases of using Lean techniques which was implemented in the factories – mainly the topics like 5S and Red Tag, Kanban, QCO, Kaizen events, Daily Management Meetings and KPI’s.
Some of the hobbies of Mr. Madi is discover and travel to new places, arts and crafts, listening music and also he is member of Toastmasters International Club and recently he was awarded with ‘Competent Leader’ certificate from TMI

Mr. Hamdy Nasser
holds a production engineering degree and Masters in Business Administration and is a certified Supply Chain, Six Sigma Green and Black Belt professional.
Mr. Hamdy has over 15 years of experience in supply chain in a number of worldwide FMCG companies such as Unilever, Mars and PepsiCo. He assumed a number of roles in Egypt, North Africa and the Middle East region with responsibilities involving production planning and launching a number of successful lean supply chain projects in Egypt as well as launching the “Pull Production System – KANBAN.”
His latest role is Senior Productivity Manager for the MENA region with a $1B revenue, 4 market units and 2 business lines for beverages and snacks. During the Conference, Mr. Hamdy will explain the effective implementation Lean Six Sigma tools in supply chain for great results and outcomes.
